Emergency Medicine Associates and Clark EMS Physicians are jointly seeking a physician board-certified/board-eligible in both emergency medicine and EMS.
Emergency Medicine Position:
With volume in southwest Washington State growing, and a new ED at our hospital just opening, Emergency Medicine Associates (EMA) is set to add full-time doctors to our 35+ clinician roster. Our new facility is spectacular. Completion is projected to be done by January 2026.
EMA is an independent democratic group that has held its contract with PeaceHealth Southwest Washington Medical Center since 1991. We are a stroke, STEMI, and level II trauma center on track to see about 80,000 patients this year.
EMA provides W-2 employment. Compensation is a combined guaranteed hourly wage plus productivity incentive and ranges from $250 to $315 per hour. EMA gives another $30+ per hour in generous benefits including company-paid HSA, health, vision, and disability insurance. Incentive pay starts day one. There is no buy-in. Nocturnists are paid a healthy differential.

Assistant EMS Medical Director Position:
Clark EMS Physicians is a physician group staffing the Office of the Medical Program Director for Clark County, Washington. Clark County EMS serves a population of 500,000, with 55,000 EMS calls for service annually. The EMS system uses tiered response, and includes private ambulance transport, fire-based transport, and third-service transport, with mobile integrated health. The county includes urban, suburban, rural and wilderness areas. The Medical Program Director is appointed by the state Department of Health and provides medical direction to all EMS agencies in the county.
The Office of the Medical Program Director strives to deliver excellence in EMS medicine. The ideal assistant EMS medical director will have fellowship training in EMS, a talent for teaching and a passion for quality improvement. The assistant EMS medical director is hired by Clark EMS Physicians as an independent contractor.
